Painting the architectural landscape of New Orleans is one of my main subjects. House & Hound is a portrait of one of my favorite houses in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans.
I like the way the light strikes the yellow exterior of the house and allows it to hold its own against its much larger neighbors. The dachshund hound is lagniappe.
