Azalea Still Life with Figurines, oil on canvas, 20" x 16"

When I was a kid growing up in Gentilly, we had azaleas all around the house. I've always been fond on them. This painting is of an arrangement that I happened upon at Wolfe Studio in Jackson, MS. The figurines in the foreground are glazed Wolfe bisqueware waiting to be fired.
