The Oaks House Museum in Jackson, MS, painted on a spring day. Some may know it as The Boyd House, named after James H. Boyd, who served as Mayor of Jackson several times during the 1840s and 1850s.
The wooden arches across the front porch are interesting to paint and a detail I have rarely seen in older homes in the South.
